
NEWARK NJ, Jan. 21 — OHK Medical Devices today announced that it will continue to provide donations of HemaClear products to medical teams and relief agencies working in Haiti with victims of the catastrophic earthquake on January 12.
“It is important that surgeons and medical teams working in the field have access to the best available technology” said Oren Gavriely, CEO of OHK Medical Devices. “The large number of crush injuries will require some type of orthopedic surgery. HemaClear is the ideal device for this purpose. We believe it is our responsibility to contribute and assist with the healing efforts.”
OHK has already sent HemaClear devices with five medical teams that will are operating in Haiti. Medical teams from the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC, Sinai Hospital in Baltimore and Ocala FL all are using products suitable for both upper and lower limbs and reporting excellent results. OHK is now reaching out to its entire user base in the US and Europe offering similar donations to support orthopedic missions in Haiti and elsewhere around the world.
